How to Retrieve missing toolbars in microsoft paint

Toolbars is missing in Microsoft Paint

Open command prompt first ..here is how


Make sure you are logged in as an Administrator account.

Windows XP

  1. Click Start, then Run.
  2. Type cmd and press Enter.

Windows Vista, 7 or newer 

  1. Click the Start button.
  2. Type cmd (don’t press Enter).
  3. In the list, under programs you should see a file called cmd.
  4. Right click it and select Run as administrator.
  5. Click Yes or Continue.

  1. Copy all the text in the box below:
    reg delete "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Applets\Paint\General-Summary" /f
  2. Right click in the Command Prompt window and click Paste.
  3. Press Enter.
  4. Close the Command Prompt.
